Tekst 1.

Woman: Oh, you’re back early. How was the training session?

Boy: Fine, but I’m really tired and a bit hungry.

Woman: I’ve bought some bananas. Would you like one?

Boy: Well, I don’t know. What’s that delicious smell?

Woman: Roast chicken and potatoes. I’m cooking lunch. It will be ready in thirty minutes.

I can make you a sandwich now.

Boy: No, thanks. I think I can wait half an hour.

Tekst 2.

Girl: Dad, we’re having an exhibition of old electronic items at school tomorrow.

Everybody is bringing something. Do we have anything I could take?

Man: What about my huge old phone?

Girl: Actually, one of my classmates has already brought in a phone, so I should bring

something else.

Man: Hmm, there’s my electric toy car. It still works.

Girl: Sorry, Dad, but it’s broken. Steven was playing with it and dropped it.

Man: Well, we have Mum’s old camera then.

Girl: Unfortunately, we don’t. Mum gave it to uncle John for his collection.

Man: Oh, so take the toy car with you tomorrow. Even if it doesn’t work it’s still better

than another telephone.

Girl: I guess you’re right, Dad. That’s what I’ll do.

Tekst 3.

Woman: Tim, your shoes are all wet and dirty.

Boy: Oh, sorry. I was playing football before school and it started to rain.

Woman: Do you have any other shoes with you to change into?

Boy: I’m sorry, I don’t. But I can call my mum and ask her to bring some. She’s at home

now.

Woman: Yes, please do that. And could you also clean the floor here before the other

students come in? The class is starting soon.

Boy: OK, I will.

Tekst 4.

Boy: What do you think of this one?

Girl: It’s strange, but beautiful. It’s a waterfall and a big fish.

Boy: What? To me, it’s just a blue triangle and a few straight lines.

Girl: That’s the point. Everyone can see it differently. It’s brilliant.

Boy: You must be joking. Even my little sister could paint something better.

Girl: No, I’m serious. This artist is a genius. Maybe she’ll be famous one day.

Girl: My school requires that students’ hair must be a natural colour. Some of my friends say

we should be allowed to come to school with pink or green hair. I disagree with them.

I think the school has the right to decide what hair colour students are allowed to have.

That’s fair enough for me. I sometimes colour my hair purple for a party on Saturday,

but I wash it out before I go to school on Monday.
