Boy: Hi, Emma, the Milton football team are playing an important match tomorrow. Do you
want to come and watch it with me and my dad?
Girl: Sure, I’d love to. But how are we going to get to the stadium?
Boy: In my dad’s car. He says we’ll have to leave early if we want to find a place in the car
park next to the cinema.
Girl: Can’t we park next to the stadium?
Boy: Well, that car park is only for team members. We’ll pick you up at eleven o’clock, OK?
Girl: Great. And what about lunch? We might be hungry after the match.
Boy: Don’t worry, we can buy some hot dogs from the food truck at the stadium. Or we can
go for pancakes at the snack bar right across the road.
Girl: I’m not a great fan of hot dogs, but pancakes would be great.
Boy: OK, good idea, I like them too.
Girl: And how much are the tickets?
Boy: An adult ticket costs £12, but it’s only £5 if you are under 16. So that will be £22 for
the three of us.
Girl: That’s not expensive. I’ll have enough money left to buy a Milton team scarf after the
match.
