Teacher: Good morning, class! I have some exciting news to share. On Monday we are

going on a trip to the Botanical Gardens where we will learn a lot about plants.

We will meet at school at 9 a.m., please be here on time. Once we arrive at the gardens,

we’ll divide into three groups, and each group will go on a guided tour that will last two hours.

After the tour, we’ll all meet up again for a one-hour talk on how to start a school garden.

After the talk, you’ll have some free time to explore the Botanical Gardens on your own. Then

we’ll have lunch outdoors at a café on a little hill nearby. From there you will be able to see

the river.

There’s also going to be a competition for the best photos from the trip. If you want to take

part, print out your photo and bring it to the school office by Thursday next week. Our art

teachers will then choose the best photos and hang them in the school library for everyone

to see. There are attractive prizes for the winners.
